Head north for beauiful scenes of all seasons....a lot of recreational acitivities all year round ( incldg indoors if the temps are a problem for you).
I personally am looking fwd to late spring to go fishing. I have only fished for 2 years & never would have thought that I would enjoy it so much..Just sitting back & casting & having my camera ready to take nature pics when the fish are not biting....to me this is the life. The peace & tranquility & nature sights & sounds are phenominal. It must be begiinners luck, I have caught the largest fish, I catch & release (unless it is June when bass season is open).
It is the simple things in life that keep us healthy..even just bringing a child or grandchild & their friends to a dock to fish from is great. My tip is that most of the fish are closer to shore, as most people eliminate their worms & minnows before they get to shore & I have also found that most fish are near nature made locations (rock) around islands, etc. If you have never fished - try it, - you will be totally destressed, Ahoy Mates!!
