Making fitness goals stick
Like many women, I’ve made regular workouts one of my goals for 2009. And while I’ve already gone skating on our neighbourhood rink, now comes the tricky part: staying motivated. In the January/February issue (page 30) of Best Health—on newsstands now—fitness instructor Amanda Vogel asked eight of Canada’s top fitness experts for their advice on getting started, staying at it and using limited time—and money—effectively. And she’s pulled together a half dozen exercises to get you started at home. (If DVDs are your way to keep in shape, check out How to choose the best exercise DVDs.)
How are you getting started and making your fitness goals stick in 2009?

Just started the 2009 National Body Challenge that Discovery Health kicked off for the new year. Some great tips and insight how to start your new year on the right track! I've also been watching a week long event on Discovery Health where 6 challengers will compete to replace old habits with healthy alternatives!
