Healthy splurge: GoChi goji berry juice
If you're on top of nutrition trends, you'll already know about goji berries, an Asian import hailed as one of the great superfoods. You can find them dried—they look kind of like little red raisins—but they also come in juice format, such as this goji juice blend called GoChi. (Note that while it's a juice blend, but goji juice does make up a majority of the ingredients.)
I took some home to my official juice-taster (a much bigger juice drinker than me) so he could try it out, and the reviews are positive. He really likes the flavour, although he notes that it's more enjoyable in smaller quantities than when you drink a lot—which is fine, since the recommended daily intake for health benefits is only about half a cup. I tried it too and found it tasty, with a sweet-tart flavour.
The people at GoChi sent me a recent article from the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine (May 2008) that discusses a study of the health benefits of drinking GoChi juice. The results they found in test subjects who drank GoChi daily include improved athletic performance, decreased fatigue, less stress and better sleep. Not bad for a little berry.
GoChi doesn't exactly come cheap—you can order four one-litre bottles online for about $140. But if you're into splurging on new, interesting foods that will help your health, you may want to try it out.

Hi Jennifer
The juice is not pasteurized. It is processed in aseptic faciltiy so it does not effect the benefits of the juice.
The article did not mention the 90-day EMPTY BOTTLE money back guarantee. My family absolutely LOVE it. You can go directly to www.trw.feelife.com to order it.
Tanya
Is the juice pasteurized? If yes, does this impact the health benefits of the juice?
