Healthy inspiration: Dr. James Orbinski

An Imperfect Offering by Dr. James OrbinskiI think it's important on Remembrance Day to remember not only the soldiers who have fought for our country, but the civilians who also make sacrifices to make the world a better place. One of these is Dr. James Orbinski, a Canadian doctor who has worked with Doctors Without Borders (Medicins sans frontières) since 1992 and was president for several years, during which time (in 1999) the organization won the Nobel Peace Prize. Dr. Orbinski released a book this year, An Imperfect Offering: Humanitarian Action in the 21st Century, which draws on his time spent delivering humanitarian aid in countries such as Rwanda and Afghanistan. Head over to the blog Canadian Medicine for an interview with Dr. Orbinski about the book, his life and the new documentary that tells his story.
