Counterfeit toothbrushes hit Canada
What are you brushing your teeth with?
Counterfeit purses. Counterfeit money. There are even reports of counterfeit prescription drugs. Yesterday's Health Canada warning may seem not very serious, but it is: counterfeit toothbrushes are making the rounds in Canada.
Since the quality of the impostor brushes can’t be guaranteed, you’ll want to check your toothbrush. The faux models include the Colgate Massager, Colgate Navigator, Oral B Classic 40, Oral B Contura and Colgate 360.
Here’s how to tell if your toothbrush is legit:
• The packaging is bilingual, in French and English (with no other languages).
• The packaging includes the text “Distr. by/par: Colgate-Palmolive Canada Inc.”
• You can find a lot code moulded into the handle, underneath the brush head.
• The Oral B logo is part of the handle, not on a sticker that peels off.
If you suspect your toothbrush is fraudulent, stop using it. For more information, call Health Canada at 1-866-225-0709.

I bought an 'imposter' at the Dollar Store. I found it had arabic writing on it, once I got it home. I NEVER buy food there and now, I'll never buy anything like toothbrushes, soap ect again.
